Volunteer Job Descriptions
Purpose:
The purpose of the chapter board is to provide leadership, guidance and
assistance to the chapter, facilitating its role within the community.
Composition:
The chapter board should seek the broadest possible representation from the
community. Board members may include, but are not limited to, patients, doctors,
researchers, lab animal care professionals, and voluntary health charity
representatives.
Purpose: As a member of the iiFAR Speakers Bureau, spokesperson are representatives of the organization within their community. They may from time to time be asked to represent iiFAR on a national level. They are at all times ambassadors of the organization.

Network
“LINC”
Local
Individual Network Coordinator
Purpose:
The purpose of the iiFAR ACTion Network is to respond to animal research issues
that require a rapid response. It also provides an opportunity for individuals
to voice their opinion collectively with other members of iiFAR. Local
Individual Network Coordinators (LINC)s, facilitate getting “ACTion Alert”
messages to as many persons as possible by coordinating their own network of
friends and family willing to respond to calls to action.
